The government has several community programmes for the elderly such as the the Pusat Activiti Warga Emas (Pawe) or day care centres around the country and a home help service where volunteer provide support services to the elderly. But there are less than 50 Pawes in the country for the 2.77 million Malaysians aged 60 and above.

For private senior community clubs are as follows:-

1. Senior Aloud

2. Damansara Jaya Senior Citizens Association (DJSCA)/ Persatuan Warga Emas Damansara Jaya

3.  SS20 residents association

4. Senior Citizens Association Selangor and Federal Territory

5. U3A or University of the Third Age?
U3A is a nationwide network of learning groups aimed at encouraging older people to share their knowledge, skills and interests in a friendly environment.
There are no exams and no homework, just regular lessons or study groups. It's learning for fun, not with the aim of gaining qualifications.

The new list will be added from time to time.
