1. Who is eligible for 100% full funding under PERKESO EIS (SIP)?

You are eligible if: (1) You are a Malaysian Citizen or Permanent Resident, (2) You contributed to PERKESO EIS (Sistem Insurans Pekerjaan) in your previous employment, and (3) You experienced loss of employment (Retrenchment, VSS/MSS, Company Downsizing/Closure, or Constructive Dismissal) within the past 24 months. info at here

2. Do I have to pay ANY money upfront or later?

Absolutely RM0. 100% of your course fees are supported by PERKESO EIS. There are no hidden fees, no student loans, and no repayment required upon completion.

3. Will I get a certificate?

Yes, you’ll earn a microcredential certificate Microcredential – CC-013-3:2013-C02: Independent Residents Care Handling, Elderly Care Centre Operations or CC-013-3:2013-C03: Dependent Residents Care Handling, Elderly Care Centre Operations issued by Department of Skills Development, Ministry of Human Resource and also AIM Healthcare Academy with following criteria:-

  • 6-weeks training
  • Pass all the assignments and exams.
4. Accommodation is provided

5. How soon can I get hired after completing the course?

6. I don't have any healthcare or nursing experience. Can I join?

Yes. The programme is designed to help learners develop practical caregiving skills, including those who are new to the care sector.

You don't need to be a nurse to begin learning how to support an elderly person safely, respectfully and with greater confidence.

7. What language is the course conducted in?

The course is delivered in a friendly, practical bilingual format (English & Bahasa Melaysia). Training materials and medical terminology are simplified so everyone understands comfortably.

11. What is Perkeso EIS (Lindung Kerjaya)?
  • Submit their application within 60 days from the date of job loss.
  • Applies to normal retrenchment, VSS/MSS (Mutual/Voluntary Separation Scheme), company closures, or downsizing provided you meet the required active contributions history under the EIS Act. Apply Lingdung Kerjaya here
