OVERVIEW
Fong Muntoh has over 22 years’ experience in the Aged Care Industry, Fong Muntoh has consulted and operated aged care centres since 2000. Currently, he is the General Manager of Komune Care Sdn Bhd, one of the most modern and comprehensive care centres in the Klang Valley.
As the first Malaysian who is recognised by the Ministry of Human Resources as an Aged Care Industry Operations Expert, he also sits in the Technical Advisory Committee of Institut Sosial Malaysia (ISM) under the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development.
The purpose for this guide book is to share his 22 years of experience that he has gained from many organisations, books, and mentors.
This book is designed to be practical, as a compass and a road map to ensure at least there is a standard out there for all would-be entrepreneurs.
This guide is written based on time tested and practical strategies gained along my aged care journey. I have taken from various sources including past consultation works and NOSS (National Occupational Skills Standard). It will give the owner of this guidebook a step-by-step instruction to start, manage, administer, and operate an aged care centre.
