Our co-founder, Olivia, was nearly scammed out of RM200,000 a few years ago. She received a call from the fake China Criminal Department regarding a passport mix-up at a hotel check-in in China. Thankfully, she escaped the scam.
When she heard about the anti-scam film produced by #DreamFilm, she immediately be one of the sponsors for the awareness film "OPPA", a local feature film produced by Dreamfilm in collaboration with the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) on love scam awareness as part of the iElder's CSR programme. Now, we're proud sponsors of this initiative.
On Saturday 7 October 2023 , we at iElder had a booth in conjuction with anti scam awareness talk organized by #DreamFilm, where the Royal Police Diraja Malaysia honored sponsors. iElder will be giving away 60 complimentary tickets for the Oppa movie (Scam Awareness Film) to senior citizens once they're available. We are giving away 60 movie tickets for the movie "OPPA" to care centers, nursing homes, and seniors. Filming time will be announced in due course.

Filem kesedaran ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesedaran tentang penipuan internet dan cara mengelakkannya daripada menjadi mangsa penipuan. Pada zaman digital ini, penipuan telah menjadi masalah global yang mempengaruhi kestabilan kewangan dan kesihatan mental ribuan orang.
