Celebrating the ADFM Community Centre Grand Opening & World Alzheimer’s Month 2025

We’re excited to share that we took part in the ADFM Community Centre Grand Opening & World Alzheimer’s Month 2025, held from 4–7 September at Megah Rise Mall.

✨ It was truly inspiring to see four days filled with meaningful activities, interactive workshops, and wonderful opportunities for people to connect and learn together. Families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community members came together in support of persons with dementia – a reminder that none of us walk this journey alone.

We were delighted to set up a booth during the event, showcasing a range of useful products designed to support persons with dementia. From simple tools that promote daily independence to items that encourage comfort and engagement, our aim was to help families discover practical resources that can make a difference.

Beyond the booth, we loved being part of the vibrant community spirit – exchanging experiences, learning new insights, and seeing the warmth that blossoms when people come together for a cause that matters deeply.

One of the highlights of the event was our joyful caregiver workshop, where we gathered to share experiences and practical tips on caring for a person with dementia.

It was heartwarming to see caregivers open up, exchange stories, and support one another. The session reminded us that while caring can be challenging, it can also be a journey filled with love, patience, and small moments of joy. Together, we learned that no caregiver should ever feel alone – there is always a community ready to listen and lend a hand.

Events like this highlight the importance of awareness, inclusion, and support. As we reflect on these special days, we’re reminded of the power of compassion and collective effort in making the lives of persons with dementia and their caregivers more fulfilling.
