Tips On Avoiding Cold

Getting common cold easily? 经常感冒?
It has been raining almost everyday lately, from a bright-sunny day to heavy rain, the rapid and sudden change in temperature triggers a reaction in our body and causes common cold.
最近天气几乎天天下雨,由阳光猛烈到突然滂沱大雨,天气的骤然转变,使温差巨大,因此容易引起体内感冒。
 
Tips on avoiding Common Cold 避免流感的小贴士
  1. Cover the hind of neck. 保护后颈。
 
Always protect this part of your neck, as in TCM, this is the 'door' where pathogen enters your body.
保护好颈后及大椎部位,以防止风邪的入侵而导致感冒。
 
  1. Drink warm water. 喝温水。
 
Drinking warm water elevates the Yang Qi to body surface, so to defend against external pathogen.
多喝温水,温水能提升您的阳气至体表,以对抗外邪。
 
  1. Keep warm. 保暖。
Wear thicker clothes, jackets etc. to keep warm, especially those with weaker body constitution, elders and children. 
注意保暖,尤其是体弱者、长者或儿童,多穿外套以防止温差转变太大。
 
  1. Exercise regularly. 经常运动。

    Exercises such as walking, jogging, Qi Gong helps building up your physical strength, at the same time improve your immune system.
    多运动,如散步、打气功、跑步等,以加强锻炼体力,并提高免疫力。
 
  1. Drink Ginger Tea. 喝姜茶。
    Ginger tea is good in dispelling wind and cold pathogen, helps especially to secure your defense against common cold. Drink 2-3 times a week or after getting caught in a rain.
    适当饮用姜茶(一星期2-3次,或在淋雨后),以驱除风邪和寒气。
