iElder.Asia and Da Jia Cheng bring Chinese New Year cheer to Residents of Senior Homes

As part of its commitment to positively impact communities in need, iElder.asia and Da Jia Cheng brought cheer to inmates of Senior Homes by donating paus and medical equipment in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations on the 28 January 2022.

iElder.asia, a division of the ASIAN INTEGRATED MEDICAL SDN BHD and a distributor of high quality aged and healthcare products and services have always done their part in charitable acts for the underserved over the years. Established in 2012, their focus has been on aged care, medical technology (Med-Tech) and healthcare product and services and they are also the suppliers of these healthcare products to hospitals, nursing home, clinics, pharmacies, and corporate clients.

This charity initiative is one of the platforms for iElder.asia in reaching out to the different segments of the community, particularly the elderly who are now confined to these homes under very challenging circumstances. What a great way to bring them some comfort food and the much-needed medical equipment delivered right to their doorsteps. A great welcome to the Year of the Tiger.

iElder.asia partnered up with Restaurant Da Jia Cheng, a Dim Sum restaurant based in Taman Connaught, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur to donate 100 paus to five senior homes. Each home received 20 paus, and a box of Covid-19 essentials including gloves, face shields, hand sanitizers, disinfectant, face masks and a large bottle of hand sanitizer, courtesy of iElder.asia.

“iElder.Asia and Da Jia Cheng feel this is a significant time to reach out to the less fortunate, with the hope of bringing them some festive cheer” said Steven of Da Jia Cheng. It is only a small contribution to ensure the residents of these homes will have a happy and meaningful time during this season. Da Jia Cheng is a traditional Dim Sum restaurant, and has been in business for 18 years.  Their food has been known for its freshness, its great quality and its cleanliness. Their aim and priority has been to provide the greatest satisfaction to their customers at affordable prices.

“Sparing a thought for the elderly who are going through difficult times is one way we are committed to giving back to the community. We hope that this exercise manages to showcase our Malaysian values and inspires others to create a community that looks out for each other, especially the elderly. This is why we do what we do.” said Eugene of iElder.asia.

iElder.Asia currently has a showroom in Cheras Perdana, and will be opening a new branch in KPJ2 early on this year. iElder.asia will also be opening a new showroom above their sister company Poliklinik Perdana, in Cheras Perdana. This showroom will specialise in home modification consultation for the elderly. As the population of older adults continues to grow, home modifications are a key factor in enabling individuals to “age in place,” or live in the place or home of choice. iElder.Asia plans to show the way to make any home stylish while allowing to safely age-in-place.
