[January 2022 Webinar] How to Choose a Right Wheelchair for your Loved one
People are not “confined” to their wheelchairs -- they are in fact liberated by their wheels.
A person with limited mobility or paralysis can get around as quickly in a wheelchair as anyone else can walk. Selecting the right wheelchair is important as it comes with different styles, functions and is important to ensure that the wheelchair is right as it can cause long-term problems such as posture problems, back pain, risk of sliding/fall combined with other complications.
Identifying the needs of those who require the wheelchair has many factors and the wheelchair offers accessibility to live a quality life for both, themselves as well their caregivers.
