Cook food until soft, cut into small chunks, and place all meat, vegetable and rice into blender or food processor. Or use an immersion blender. Add a little liquid and puree or blend. Keep adding a little liquid until you have a smooth puree.

How to Cook Delicious Pureed Meals for Seniors?
For elderly or patients with difficulties in chewing and swallowing, they will often struggle while eating solid foods. This limits food intake, and may subsequently impact the nutritional status. That’s where the inventions of puréed food come into play. However, so much of what we think of puréed foods can be unappetizing sometimes.
On 6 March, we are honoured to have two speakers: Founder and CEO of Silver Connect, Shen Yi Ru and dietition Foo Jia Min to share us trends in texture modified diets and importance of nutrition for patients and elderly and all about puréed food.
