【Product Features】:
Equipped with Velcro and buckles, the restraint strap can secure the limbs to a bed or wheelchair. It allows for patient observation without needing to remove the long strap.

【Instructions for Use】
Check the Restraint Strap: Bring the necessary equipment to the patient’s bedside, verify the patient's information, and take out the restraint strap.
Unfasten the Short Strap: Ensure the plastic buckle is positioned vertically at a 90-degree angle, then gently pull the short strap to its end. (Do not separate the buckle from the strap.)
Position the Restraint Strap: Open the Velcro and place the patient’s wrist or ankle in the centre of the soft padding.
Secure the Velcro: Adjust the Velcro to a comfortable tightness. (There should be enough space to fit two fingers between the padding and the skin.)
Tighten the Strap: Keep the plastic buckle at a 90-degree angle and tighten the short strap.
Secure the Other End: Attach the long strap to a stable part of the bed frame or chair. (Alternatively, the restraint strap can be pre-fixed to the bed, so it is ready for use when needed.)

【Precautions for Using the Restraint Strap】
Extra precautions should be taken for malnourished patients or those with poor local blood circulation.
The strap should be tied in a way that allows controlled movement without excessive restriction. (There should be room for one or two fingers to fit between the strap and the patient’s limb.)
Restraints must be secured to the bed frame, headboard, or chair (not the bed rails).
Monitor the patient every 15–30 minutes and loosen the strap every 2 hours, allowing a break of 15–30 minutes before reapplying if needed.
Loosen the strap when repositioning or moving the patient.
When loosening the strap, ensure close monitoring to prevent accidents.
Check circulation regularly, including skin colour, temperature, pulse, capillary refill time, and swelling. If the skin appears pale, bluish, numb, painful, or cold, immediately loosen the strap and massage the area if necessary.
Restraints are for patient safety only and must never be used as punishment. Prolonged restraints should be avoided, and they should be removed as soon as the patient's condition stabilizes.
