1. Hospis Malaysia

Hospis Malaysia provides professional palliative care free of charge to patients with life-limiting illness, around Klang Valley.

Hospis Malaysia is a charitable organisation that offers professional palliative care to those with serious illnesses (such as cancer, AIDS, organ failure or progressive neurological conditions.) Our clinical team makes home visits to assess patients and help with the problems related to a serious illness, be they physical, psychological or social. Our care is provided free of charge.

Patients will need to submit a referral letter by the attending doctors to be registered under Hospis Malaysia. Hospis Malaysia is a non-governmental, non profit organisation that offers professional palliative care to patients suffering from life-limiting illnesses within the Klang Valley. It is also a leading provider of training and education for palliative care and a strong advocate for greater accessibility to this area of medical specialty in the country. The organisation is committed to advancing palliative care programs, education, and research with the aim of to ensure that palliative care, which is already part of the WHO definition of “Universal Health Care”, becomes fully integrated into the country’s health care system

2. Kasih Hospice Foundation, Selangor

We are a non-governmental organization with a not-for-profit philosophy and our services are free of charge. We are recognized as a hospice service provider by public and private hospitals in Kuala Lumpur and the surrounding region.

We assist people in maintaining control over their pain and symptoms, and provide home visitation service for people with life-limiting illness. We support people of all belief systems on a non-denominational and non-discriminatory basis.

HOSPICE KLANG was set up in 1995 to provide "palliative care" to the community in Klang and the surrounding district. 5. Assiss Palliative Care Services (APS), Selangor

Palliative care is the comprehensive, proactive care of patients whose ailments do not respond to curative treatment and are therefore at the end stage of their lives. The goal is to improve their quality of life, provide comfort, preserve their dignity and focus on their emotional, psychosocial, spiritual and other needs. 10. Hospis Melaka

Hospis Melaka  was registered in November in 1994 as Pertubuhan Hospis Melaka and has come a long way to what it is today.  Twenty-seven brave men and women who then saw the urgent need to set up a Palliative Care Group for the ever-increasing terminally ill cancer patients initiated it. Kudos to those brave and caring people for putting Hospice Melaka on the World Hospice Map. In 2014, the organization's name Pertubuhan Hospis Melaka was officially changed to Hospis Melaka.

Charis Hospice is a charitable organization and we provide free medical support home care services to patients with advanced illness.

12. Penang Hospice Society

The Penang Hospice Society was registered in 2001 and functions as a charitable non-governmental organization in the community. Currently it provides holistic medical care in the homes of patients with advanced life limiting diseases, mainly cancer along with non- cancer patients.   This service is called the Hospice at Home Program (HHP).  A multi- disciplinary team of nurses, doctors and lay volunteers visit the patient at his/her home to address the problems of the patient be they physical such as pain, psycho-social, or spiritual with the aim of reducing suffering while at the same time helping the family cope

13. Pure Lotus Hospice Of  Compassion, Penang

Pure Lotus hospice of compassion takes in end stage cancer patients who are poor, single with no carers or no place to stay. Pure Lotus Hospice offers Palliative Care round the clock. We have professional doctors and nurses who look after the medical and nursing care. The care is holistic embracing medical ,physical and emotional care. Spiritual care is given great emphasis. We take in all regardless of race or religion. We are the only In-Patient NGO Hospice in Malaysia.

14. Sarawak Hospice Society

The Sarawak Hospice Society (SHS) was registered in January 1998 with the aim to promote hospice service and hospice care with the Home Care Programme (HCP), which was first introduced by the Department of Radiotherapy, Oncology & Palliative Care (DRO) in 1994. It is available to terminally ill cancer patients in Sarawak.Currently Sarawak Hospice Society covers Kuching city only. We have other cities and townships NGO or private care group who re working with us on case by case basis. Many having seen doctors in Kuching and return to their smaller townships.
