I can live alone without any fear
Don't let our Seniors die alone
The issue of seniors living alone and passing away unnoticed is a genuine concern. Recent cases highlight instances where elderly individuals have died in solitude at home, with their deaths remaining undetected until a neighbor noticed a foul smell and discovered the deceased's body.
As per the National Health and Morbidity Survey 2018, approximately 7.4% of elderly individuals resided alone. Numerous seniors, living in solitude, carry concerns that unforeseen incidents may occur without anyone's knowledge. Presently, the usual routine involves siblings calling in the morning and evening to check on the well-being of the senior. However, there persists a fear, especially at night, that if something were to happen while the senior is asleep, no one would know.
Prefer staying in Kampung
We have observed that many seniors choose to remain in their kampung (hometown) instead of relocating to the city with their children or follow their children living abroad. They are accustomed to socializing with longtime friends and enjoying activities like having coffee at the pasar pagi (morning market). This lifestyle allows them to savor the pleasures of retirement.
Concerns Arise: Leaving Parents Alone at Home During Daytime
Seniors residing with their children express concerns about the safety of their parents, especially when they leave for work during the day or embark on occasional travels.
CCTV not feasible
Numerous instances of falls among senior parents have prompted adult children to explore SOS panic buttons for installation. While CCTV is a viable option, certain areas like bedrooms and bathrooms pose privacy concerns, with the bathroom being a high-risk area for falls.
Elderly Monitoring & Alert System
As a result, an increasing number of adult children are purchasing our elderly monitoring and alert system to install in their seniors' homes. Blissfull Life provides an Elderly Monitoring System that tracks seniors' movements. The system includes a wearable device around the neck, allowing seniors to call for help if needed.
Our non-intrusive Blissfull Life Elderly Monitoring System ensures continuous monitoring of seniors at home. Motion sensors strategically placed in key areas such as the bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen, which are common pathways for seniors, contribute to promoting their well-being. This comprehensive system provides peace of mind to families, assuring them of the continuous monitoring and safety of their elderly loved ones. When they detect any unusual patent and their loved one is notified.
Key Features:
- Monitor seniors at home without compromising privacy (no CCTVs).
- Provide immediate assistance if the elderly requires help.
- Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing your parents and grandparents are safe at home.
Blissfull aids seniors living independently by offering a comprehensive monitoring, alert, and response system for home safety, contributing to a community that supports aging in place.
