Moonman Events Partners with iElder supported by ACT4Health and ManagedCare to Enhance AGECOPE Senior Care Center Safety in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - July 1, 2023 - Moonman Events, a leading event and exhibitions company in Malaysia, is pleased to announce its partnership with iElder, a renowned provider of elderly care specialty store, to lead a hazard assessment and modification project for Agecope members in the Klang Valley area. As part of this collaboration, Moonman Events has committed to donating RM10,000 for the year 2023, with a pledge to continue the same amount annually.

The primary objective of this initiative is to address the lack of systematic physical hazard assessments in old folks' homes and nursing homes across Malaysia. Recognizing the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of senior citizens, Moonman Events has entrusted iElder to conduct comprehensive physical assessments and implement necessary modifications to enhance the physical safety of these facilities. iElder in collaboration with ACT4Health and Managedcare to conduct Senior Care Center Hazard assessment & Modification. 

Through this partnership, Moonman Events aims to create a safer and more secure environment for senior citizens residing in nursing homes and senior care centers. By supporting iElder's expertise and knowledge in hazard assessment and modification, Moonman Events seeks to contribute to the overall improvement of elderly care in Malaysia.

Through this assessment, potential hazards will be identified, and appropriate modifications and improvements will be recommended and implemented to ensure a safer environment for elderly residents.

Process Flow

1. If any senior care centers or nursing homes are interested in joining this initiative, we encourage you to get in touch with us via whatsapp by providing your name, mobile, email and senior care center address. 

2. We will select and shortlist senior care centers for this program.

3. To ensure safety, a complimentary home hazard assessment will be conducted at your premises.

4. Depending on the assessment outcome, the cost of the modifications will be either fully or partially funded.

5. Once the transformation is completed, we will send a review survey to the operator to gather valuable feedback.
