The National Council of Malaysian Women's Organizations (NCWO) celebrated 60th National Women's Day with a Luncheon at Dewan Perdana Felda, Kuala Lumpur today. The theme is "The Courage of NCWO's Trailblazers, an Inspiration for Women Today".

    In October 2004, the Institute of Gerontology, UPM, now known as the Malaysia Research Institute on Ageing (MyAgeing®), organized its inaugural National Conference on Ageing, themed "Bridging Research, Policy, and Practice." The event at Summit Hotel Subang welcomed over 150 participants, comprising academicians, researchers, policymakers, and social workers.
