Malaysia: Ambulance And Emergency Medical Services

This information is intended for people who want to know how to call an ambulance in Malaysia – a question we happen to be trying to answer ourselves every day.

Q1: Do we have to pay for ambulance service?

A1: Usually an ambulance called through the 999 emergency line is free. The patient or the patient’s next of kin cannot determine which hospital to send. The ambulance will send the patient to a nearby hospital.

Private ambulances have their own hotline and will be charged a reasonable price according to need. The hotline is available from facebook and social media. Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer

When you need to call an ambulance, please indicate the following info to ambulance service provider
