It has been raining almost everyday lately, from a bright-sunny day to heavy rain, the rapid and sudden change in temperature triggers a reaction in our body and causes common cold.

- Cover the hind of neck. 保护后颈。
Always protect this part of your neck, as in TCM, this is the 'door' where pathogen enters your body.
- Drink warm water. 喝温水。
Drinking warm water elevates the Yang Qi to body surface, so to defend against external pathogen.
- Keep warm. 保暖。
Wear thicker clothes, jackets etc. to keep warm, especially those with weaker body constitution, elders and children.
- Exercise regularly. 经常运动。
Exercises such as walking, jogging, Qi Gong helps building up your physical strength, at the same time improve your immune system.
Drink Ginger Tea. 喝姜茶。Ginger tea is good in dispelling wind and cold pathogen, helps especially to secure your defense against common cold. Drink 2-3 times a week or after getting caught in a rain.适当饮用姜茶（一星期2-3次，或在淋雨后），以驱除风邪和寒气。
