When patients are discharged from the hospital, their family members will find a private nurse or a caregiver at home to take care of their loved one. Most family members will be concerned about the patient's safety at home and their journey from bed travel to hospital, etc.
So come and take our home hazard and modification assessment to get to know how to provide the best advice to your customers. It is a tested proven assessment of the Malaysian population with ACT4Health, a spin-off company under the University of Malaya and Ageing and Age Associated Disorder Research Group, Faculty of Medicine, University Malaysia.
iElder in collaboration with ACT4Health is promoting a series of seniors' health assessment training courses. This training is packed with valuable assessment tools from experienced professionals.
If each student signs up for at least 2 classes, then an additional RM20 discount for each subject.
If each 5 pax student signs up for at least 2 classes, then there is an RM20 discount for each assessment course.
According to the World Bank, going from ageing to an aged society in just 24 years, the country’s transition happens at a similar pace to Japan’s. It follows the trend of other high-income economies. Rapid ageing will be a crucial megatrend affecting Malaysia in the coming decades.

Training Courses

Senior Health Preventive Screening: Provision of training that enables trainees to conduct regular health assessments that help prevent the development of diseases and promote healthy living. Training will include tests of memory, balance, hand-grip strength, standing blood pressure, vision, and oral health.

Falls Risk Assessment: Training will cover an assessment of fall risks for the elderly, especially in high-risk groups, using comprehensive and original research evidence.

Home Hazard & Modification Assessment: Training focused on lowering risks of falls through professional assessment of homes, enabling adaptation or modification of home environments.

Otago Exercise Program: Training delivered by physiotherapists, which focuses on simple, effective, and fun exercises to strengthen muscles and improve balance, while reducing the risks of falls for as long as possible.
- Memory Test: Detect memory problems earlier through our memory test. We will also provide solutions to ensure your needs are fulfilled and you can live independently.
TRAINING INCLUDES
- 1-2 Day course depending on each module.
- Theory & practical skills assessment.
- Certificate of Competency by ACT4Health spin-off company of University Malaya business arm of Ageing and Age-Associated Disorders Research.
- 8 CPD points are claimable for HOme Hazard Assessment and Modification Training.
