Clinical Applications

Through orderly and rhythmic inflation and deflation of multi-chamber airbags, a cyclic pressure is formed on the limbs, which not only increases blood flow speed and maximises total blood movement, clearing blood from behind venous valves and reducing blood stasis, but also improves blood and tissue fluid circulation, prevents coagulation factor aggregation, and adhesion to the vascular endothelium. It also increases the activity of the fibrinolytic system, causing changes in haemodynamics and the fibrinolytic system to prevent deep vein thrombosis and eliminate limb oedema.
