The KA 800 is a multifunctional and comfortable wheelchair made in Japan that is suitable for the daily use of patients to and fro hospitals or those with mobility issues. This wheelchair is very easy to move around as it is compact and the backrest and footrest can be easily folded. The removable seat is adjustable and the back tensioner enhances the comfort of the wheelchair. With the back tension foam pad, there is excellent pressure distribution for the user and is designed to fit securely onto the canes of the wheelchair for strength and stability. The leg rest is of the swing arm type. It comes with 40, 42 and 45cm seat width. The total weight of these models are 14.5/15.8kg (16'') and 16.4/17.5kg (22") and the maximum weight the user of this wheelchair can bear is up to 100kg.
It also has a cushion at the armrest as a support for the patient when getting up. With a flip up footrest, it is easy for the patient to get up from the wheelchair and moreover the footrest is adjustable. Can be easily fitted into the boot of the car. For safety a seatbelt is provided.
