Vital 1.5kcal is a calorically dense, 100% hydrolysed, whey predominant peptide formula. It is formulated for people experiencing malabsorption, maldigestion, impaired gastrointestinal function and/or symptoms of gastrointestinal intolerance.

Suitable as a sole source of nutrition or as a nutritional supplement for patients who cannot or will not eat sufficient quantities of everyday food and drink to meet their nutritional requirements.

PREPARATION
Vital 1.5kcal oral nutritional supplement is ready-to-drink and is available in café latte, mixed berry and vanilla flavours. It's best served chilled and is presented in a bottle with a peel-off seal for pouring. Vital 1.5kcal should be used under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

PRECAUTIONS

• In patients receiving some medications, there may be a risk of drug nutrient interactions (e.g. warfarin and vitamin K). Careful prescribing and monitoring practices will serve to reduce the risk (please refer to the pharmacist).
• Unless recommended by a qualified healthcare professional, not intended for use in children.
• Patients should not make any additions to the feed without consulting their pharmacist or dietitian.
